In 2007, Fish Doctor Charters is celebrating our 20th year of full time Lake Ontario charter fishing with a new Srping Fish Doctor Derby worth $1,000 to some luck angler. If you think it's exciting hooking a fish aboard the Fish Doctor, imagine a $1,000 check attached to it!

Here's how it will work;
  • Every person who fishes a lake charter with us for trout and salmon from April 1st through June 30 in 2007 and registers onboard will be eligible.
  • Lake-caught brown trout, lake trout, chinook salmon, coho salmon, and steelhead/rainbows are eligible in five separate species categories.
  • Each qualifying fish will be weighed on our digital scales on shore.
  • Weight, time and date will be entered in our onboard register under the name of the angler who caught it.
  • One or more members of the charter group will witness the weigh-in.
  • If there is a tie in any species category, the winner will be determined based on the earliest date of catch.

On July 1st, there will be a blind drawing to determine the winner. The anglers who caught the heaviest fish in each species category will have their name dropped in a 'hat", and a drawing will be held to determine the $1,000 Grand Prize winner. The angler will then be notified and will receive a Fish Doctor check for $1000.
